Privacy policy

Your data stays with you

Last updated 30 October 2026

In short:

  • Equalo does not collect, store or share any personal data.
  • No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking.
  • Your progress is saved only on your own device.
  • Purchases go through Apple, and Game Center is run by Apple, under Apple’s privacy policy.

Who makes Equalo

Equalo is made by Michal Kvasnička, an independent developer in the Czech Republic (“we”). If you have any question about privacy, write to m.kv@snicka.cz.

What we collect

Nothing. The game has no sign-up and no account, contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking code, and does not send your progress, your answers or anything about you to us or to anyone else. It does not use your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.

What stays on your device

To remember where you are, the game saves your progress on your iPhone or iPad: the levels you’ve played and their stars, your thanks and power-ups, what you’ve built in town, your daily gift streak and your settings (sound, music, sky). This information never leaves your device through Equalo. It may be included in your own iCloud or computer backups of the device, as with any app. Deleting the app deletes it.

Purchases

Equalo is free to start; one optional in-app purchase unlocks the full game. The purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, Apple ID, card or payment details. The game only learns from Apple, on your device, whether the full game has been bought, so it can unlock it and restore it.

Game Center

If you are signed in to Game Center on your device, the game reports the highest level you’ve cleared to a leaderboard and unlocks badges (achievements). This is handled by Apple under your Game Center profile and Apple’s privacy policy. Leaderboard entries (your Game Center nickname and score) are visible to other players and to us, as with every Game Center game. If you are not signed in, nothing is sent. You can manage Game Center in the Settings app.

Crash reports and statistics from Apple

If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may give us anonymous, aggregated statistics (for example how many people opened the app) and crash reports that help us fix bugs. These do not identify you. You can turn this off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

Children

Equalo is suitable for children. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children either. The in-app purchase is protected by Apple’s purchase approval and, if you use it, Ask to Buy in Family Sharing.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you may ask what personal data we hold about you and ask us to delete it. As we hold none, there is nothing to hand over or delete; your progress lives only on your device and you can erase it by deleting the app or with Menu › Reset progress. For data held by Apple (purchases, Game Center), please see Apple’s privacy policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.

This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no fonts or scripts from other companies. The company that hosts it may keep ordinary server logs (such as IP addresses) for security, as all web hosts do.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a future version of the game were to collect any data, we would say so here and in the App Store before it does.
